This hotel is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk from Salzburg's main railway station and a 35 minute walk to the Altstadt.
It is a relatively modern hotel where functionality rather than charm is predominant but the staff were pleasant and our room was clean. Some minor irritation as the room was on the car-park side of the building and there was some disturbance through vehicle noise. The bathroom was quite small but, again, very clean. Beds were comfortable. However, the hotel is a garden setting so rooms on that side of the building probably have a better outlook.
The breakfast buffet had a reasonable range and whilst scrambled eggs were the only style on the counter itself they were happy to prepare other types to order.
Overall the value for money was good (maybe because we were that little further away from the centre of the city) and whilst not the most exciting of hotels in which we have stayed there was nothing significantly wrong with what was provided. Probably a good location if you are travelling to Salzburg by car.
