This is how places should be in Europe! Parking was easy, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Less than a 5-10 min walk to center of old town Salzburg. Staff was very friendly and very helpful; with great restaurant recommendations and sight info. Stay could not have been better.

We stayed here with two adults and 3 small children, ages 9, 7, and 6. The hostess was extremely friendly and insisted on helping us get our bags from the car. We had a quad room in the basement that suited our purposes for the one night stay, but it would have been crowded if we stayed there longer. The WiFi was spotty in the room, but worked well if you stepped out into the hallway. I think it was just the location of the room in the basement though. The room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast in the morning was a typical German/Austrian breakfast with a choice of breads, cold sliced meat, and cheese. There was also a wide selection of tea and coffee was brought to the table (very good coffee too!). You also had a choice of fruit, yogurt, juice, and corn flakes cereal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Haus Arenberg to our friends and family!

We stayed there with our whole family and absolutely LOVED it! The hostess was friendly and helpful and offered great information to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed Salzburg, as well as our stay at the inn. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, especially for a whole family which is hard to find & this fit the bill perfectly! The breakfast was delicious and filling and offered plenty of variety, plus is served in a beautiful sunny breakfast room. Everyone there was so gracious and made all of us feel like welcome guests, even our young children. Very family friendly! We look forward to returning!

I booked Haus Arenberg based on Trip Advisor reviews and I was not disappointed. The B&B is located on a hill across the river from old town Salzburg. Parking is free and ample. The owners are friendly and check in was quick and easy.

I booked a triple room, which was a mistake because I did not know it was in the basement. The property has such a lovely garden and the rooms on the top floor have views of Salzburg, I would have much preferred such a room.

Our room was large and clean, big bathroom. The windows had screens so we had no problems with bugs and the room was cool and dark at night.

Breakfast was good. We arrived late so it had been largely consumed, but the owner was happy to bring us whatever we wanted.

It is possible to walk into Salzburg, either on the river or the Steingasse, just 15 minutes.

All in all, a very comfortable stay.
