We spent the last three nights of a family week long holiday in Austria at the Hotel Mozart and discovered we had saved the best accommodation to the last. The moment we stepped out of the taxi at the hotel, the incomparable Rene was on hand to carry our cases and welcome us to the hotel and surrounding area. Throughout our stay we found Rene and his reception colleagues friendly and helpful, ready to answer our every question and request with a smile. All areas of the Hotel were kept immaculately clean and our three large, comfortable, fourth floor rooms included mini bars and hairdryers and two had spectacular views of the mountains. The continental buffet breakfast, served until 10.30 am each day, was ample and varied and nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff. This extremely well run hotel, with its wonderful staff, is conveniently placed within walking distance of the Old Town and we would recommend it as the place to stay in Salzburg.

My husband and I just got back from a three night stay at Hotel Mozart. The location is perfect, just a short taxi ride from the train station and a ten minute walk to the heart of Old Town. Our room was immaculate and the maids provided excellent service all three days. The reception (Renee and Bruno) staff were excellent, helping us call taxi's, getting dinner reservations, etc. with no problem at all. Salzburg is a wonderful city and if we return we will stay at Hotel Mozart again.

Conveniently located near the train station and the attractions of old town Salzburg, this hotel was a gem and its staff was fantastic. We received a very warm welcome and loved our large, immaculate room on the 5th floor with an excellent view of the Alps. The breakfast buffet is half price if you book online in advance and is a good value at that. The staff is very helpful in arranging tours and concert tickets. I'll be staying here if I come back to Salzburg...

I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at Hotel Mozart. The location was convenient, the hotel room immaculate, with a refrigerator, climate control, and great view of the mountains. I also loved the breakfast buffet. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and I was even able to buy concert tickets, as well as tickets to the "Sound of Music" tour through them. After staying at a large chain hotel in Vienna, I really appreciated how personal and kind the staff were. I would definitely stay there again if I am lucky enough to be able to come back to Salzburg.
