Unfortunately this is a pretty basic hotel. The rooms are average and the food was well below average for both breakfast and dinner. On the upside, there is a nice outlook from the restaurant and some of the rooms also enjoy a nice view. A good location not far from the old centre, but eat in town I would suggest.

Clean and efficient hotel I would say, typical Austria Trend's hotel. The location is great, pretty close to the center, just around 15 minutes walk to the Mirabell garden, next to the train station, within easy walk to the nearest shopping mall. I got the the large room in the corner, it is bright and light, comfortable bed. The Breakfast served on the Panorama restaurant in the 15th floor, the view is so breathtaking, you can see the beautiful mountains surrounding Salzburg. Not so many choices for the food anyway. The staff were seems rather a bit ignorant but they are helpful and efficient, just lack the touch warm hospitality. Overall it was a good stay.

The cost of the rooms in the Austria Trend Hotel Europa Salzburg definitely does not correspond to the quality. Admittedly the hotel is in an excellent location but the rooms were very basic, not particularly clean and the whole hotel was in need of some TLC. Even the letters behind the reception were hanging off the wall: not a good first impression. The bathroom was very small and basic with poor ventilation and we didn't have one hot shower for the whole weekend as the water was luke-warm at best. For a 4* hotel you would expect some toiletries in the bathroom, but only a soap dispenser was available. This is one of the more expensive 4* hotels I've stayed in and by far the worst in quality.

I am returning guest to this hotel.
It is still the cleanest room I have ever been to.
Location is convenient, all rooms have great view of the city.
The breakfast is not included in price and it is very expensive but there are plenty of way better and cheaper places to have breakfast in salzburg.
