Notice outside says "Hotel With Flair". It is not. I will write notes regarding the 'Geyer' from the diary that we keep of our yearly travels around Europe in our car.
Easy to find. Central, and has a car park. Not as nice looking from outside as expected from web site. The room was a reasonable size, but bathroom a bit smelly despite extrractor. The liquid soap smelled foul, think it was supposed to be fruity. Breakfast - hardly any bread or tomatoes left at O8.30. Coffee machine broken so lady brought us coffee 'special for today', after quite a long wait. Olives tasted of strong vinegar, probably out of date. The cleaning lady walked into our room without knocking before breadfast whilst we were dressing. When we returned late afternoon we found that the maid had turned over the duvets, but not made the bed. The bathroom was untouched except for the emptied bin.
Next day, the maid had changed one sheet, wiped a mark of the sink, but no hoovering had been done.
Last morning, no fruit salad. Paid bill of E306 for 3 nights, not good value. The visitors book had glowing reports!! The Hotel seemed to be run by about 3 ladies who hadn't got it right.
Klagenfurt was a very nice town, and we would return again, but not to the Hotel Geyer
