I stayed for a week while attending a course at the University of Leoben, located in a quiet town but home to one of the best mining schools.

This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Don't expect the "big hotel chain" experience. The rooms are small but cosy and within a few minutes walk you will find yourself in the center of Leoben, with shopping mall, restaurants and bars. It is also a short walk from the University.

The buffet breakfast did not offer a huge selection but the food was tasty and fresh.

Overall, a nice place to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times in the past 4 years. Everytime the stay and the service has been excellent. And since last year the high speed wireless internet was a pleasant addition. The breakfast is sumptuous, healthy and filling. The location is simply superb. Heart of Leoben town. Given the choice of 4 or 5 hotels in the town, this is the best value for money.

This hotel is nice, the breakfast is my favorite part. We where here for a sporting event and felt full and healthy after the breakfast. Rooms where nice, it still makes me laugh having to push 2 twin beds together to make a double when you are with your spouse.

Service was great, parking was ideal, close to mall, bakerys and across the street from a fabulous italian eatery. Also, it is easy to drive in Leoben

We stayed at the Kongress Hotel in Leoben for 5 days from the 10 - 15 June 2009.

The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Any task asked of them they assisted with willingly.

The hotel is well located with many restarants and Cafe's very nearby

The centre square as only a minutes walk away where there is good shopping, cafes and a lovely market.

The hotel is of a good standard for a european hotel and the rooms were very clean although in the need for some modernising.

The included breakfast was lovely and the breakfast assistant was very helpful.

We had a room at teh back of the hotel which was quiet and had a nice view over the courtyard. Some friends had a room at the front of teh hotel and said they did experience some noise at night ...so ask for a back room if possible.

All in all we had a great stay....it is the perfect hotel if go to Erzberg rodeo!
