Mercure is one of the finest hotels in the peaceful city of Graz. The location is reasonably good ( A 15 minutes walk from the city centre). The hotel has all that is required to have a pleasant stay. Good food, cordial and helpful staff and a barbers shop adjacent to it. The hotel is very near to VSI (Vehicle Safety Institute @ TU Graz). The hotel rooms were neat and clean. All in all a good reasonable place to stay in a quite vicinity.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Not within easy walking distance of the city. Nothing much around. Although there is a good supermarket next door/below the hotel. Just be aware that this closes at 6pm.

Free wifi in the room was a definite plus. We had a balcony, which although it didn't overlook much, was a nice surprise and a good way to enjoy the breeze.

Would be easier to get to if the tram line nearby was running as normal, but there is a lot of work going on. There are replacement buses, however these are not very reliable, cause you to have to change when you normally wouldn't have to and make the walk from the hotel to the closest stop longer. Will be better when they are done.

Clean and modern hotel. Quality OK but sterile and lack of atmosphere. Rooms ordinary, no relaxation facilities. Friendly staff. Low room rates during summer which don't include breakfast (the Accord Hotels principle). We didn't buy breakfast as it was fairly expensive, small selection and in dull surroundings. Hotel located in a mixed shopping-industrial area, not very attractive but only 15 min by tram to Graz city centre. Near the hotel try the Stadtpark and the cozy Biergarten Café Schillerhof at Schillerplatz (10 min walk).

I really founded a great hotel, nice location, great staff and room comfortable.
I really enjoyed my staying.
