This is an average-quality hotel in the centre of Graz, overlooking the river and at few minutes' walk from the city historical buildings.
The hotel has a large lobby and breakfast room, and shows a pleasant decor at the reception and entrance.
My single room was large enough for the standard, and was provided with the basic facilities (satellite tv, minibar, wifi connection, hairdryer etc.); the bed was large and comfortable; the room was clean and quiet enough, though not 100% insulated from noise (coming more from inside the hotel than from the street). The bathroom was decent, with a shower that worked ok, but very small.
My room was average-to-good but I heard complaints about some shabby rooms in the hotel, so make sure they give you a good one (at the reception).
Breakfast was very good, with a large selection of food, both cold and hot, though it was a little overpriced (well, depending on how much one can eat at breakfast time).
The staff at the concierge was helpful though not particularly friendly.
The hotel doesn't have a garage, and one has to park one's car in a public underground garage nearby (there is a little discount on the rate for the hotel's guests).
I have no major complaints about this hotel, yet, given its pricey rates, I would try another one the next time I'm in Graz.
