I stayed here for 11 days for a Festival. The hotel rooms are pretty basic, the single beds small, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfst too is basic but absolutely fine, and the staff on the front desk really friendly. The laundry facilties aren't the best. The dryer doesn't work (but they wont tell you that)! In terms of location it is a little out of the way. There is no coffee shop or food outlet nearby late at the night. The tram is close by - about a 5 minute walk - and Linz is quite compact so it is easy to travel in. if you are looking for basic accommodation this place is fine. I probably wouldn't go back if it was my choice, but there is really nothing wrong with staying there.

We stayed here for one night on our vacation, Its clean, efficient, great value for money. At less than Eur 60 a night including breakfast, this is by far the best deal you will get! The reception is no frills but very friendly and helpful.

This was the only hostel we could book in Linz although we did see other hostels around town during our stay. The hostel itself is situated a short tram ride outside the main city centre, but all day travel cards are reasonably priced and the ride isn't a problem, unless you plan on partying the night away, as the last tram back is midnight.
The rooms themselves are of a good size, clean and the bathrooms are nice with fantastic powerful showers. We didn't make breakfast, which was included, but it appeared to be a typical continental breakfast, bread, jam etc. The receptionists were helpful and pleasant, and there is no curfew. All in all it's very difficult to fault this hostel as an option for budget travellers.
