I was ripped off by Drei Mohren. I went to Linz for a conference. Stayed at the University hotel, and was to return a week later for one night. I wanted to stay at Drei Mohren on my return, so made a reservation in person a week ahead of time. However, I found the price they gave me exorbidant. However, I reluctantly agreed. To make the reservation they copied my credit card and made me sign a credit slip, however, I was assured that the reservation could be cancelled and I would not be charged. Later the same night that I made the reservation, I decided to stay at the more economical Dom Hotel and cancelled my reservation by phone. I was assured that my credit card would not be charged. When I received my first credit card bill, I was relieved that I would not be charged. However, on the next credit card bill, the charge went through, approximately three weeks after I was supposed to have stayed. Since Drei Mohren had my signature on my credit slip, my credit card company will not take my word. DO NOT TRUST DREI MOHREN WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD.
