Helpful hosts. A clean place to stay in a nice location. Spectacular views from rooms. Would highly recommend Pension Hallberg.

My wife and her family stayed here a few years ago and it was a great experience. Gerta and her husband delivered splendid service and great advice. I still remember breakfast at Pension Hallberg and wish I could replicate them here in the US. Thanks again for the great food and amazing views.

We've stayed there at room no. 6 for two nights during our honeymoon.
The room was very clean, gorgeous lake view, and nice kitchen! The pension owner is very friendly and helpful. Although the weather during our stay wasn't good, but Hallstatt is a amazing, charming town! We will definitely want to go back there and stay at the same pension in the future.

WOW - we loved this place, and we loved the little town of Hallstaat. I can't say a bad thing about this place. Our room was absolutely immaculate and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. However, no microwave. Grocery store is close, but check their limited hours. The owners of Pension Hallberg were so friendly and went out of their way to take our very wet belongings. They made us feel so at home, and they helped us feed the swans. The upgrade to a window view of the lake is worth every penny. I highly recommend this hotel. THANKS HALLBERGS!!!
