Four night stay. A really friendly and efficient welcome that, surprisingly, despite the Bugatti Veyron and Bentleys outside, did not feel stuffy or intimidating. A very elegant reception area and equally efficient and pleasant check-in process. Room was large, luxurious, airy (tall ceiling) with huge bed (a tad firm for my liking but that's a subjective thing of course). The hotel is large but laid out in an unusual way so although occupancy was high, it did not feel overcrowded. The breakfast room is one of the loveliest I have experienced, up on a balcony looking down into an elegant sitting room. Breakfast buffet very pleasant- they have not gone for a super-enormous spread but perfectly good choice and everything excellent. Salmon, meats, and cooked items all very good. For a 5 Star Luxury Hotel it felt good value as it felt extremely "special" Wine and beers in the reception bar are reasonable although the Crystal Bar a bit eye-watering, but I suppose that is deliberate. Location pleasant, and the casino worth visiting. They make a great Oliver Twist cocktail! Jimmy'z nightclub great fun and interesting (!) people. If you plan a trip during off peak times the rooms are astonishing value and join the Leader's Club for ($100 per year if I recall) and you get upgrades and free nights with qualifying stays across all their hotels- which adds to the value further. Very impressed!

We stayed there-me and my wife ,in deluxe rooms partly sea view,benefit the great rates- including a decent open buffet breakfast.Great welcoming staff ,a memorable vacation,also enjoying all attractions of the Casino Square atmosphere undermulti color lit and decorated trees of pre christmas period.

Some times one really has to indulge in the nicer things in life and one of them is really this hotel.
It is timeless and elegant and gives you a nice feeling of staying somewhere special.
We had lovely room with a magnificient view over the harbor and sea. The room was large, had 2 small patios and a lovely big bathroom.

The staff is attentive, polite and discreet. It is fantastic to stay in a place where the staff know most of the guests likes have their privacy but still only have to nod politely and they will try to accomodate your request.

The hotel is much larger than one would expect and gives you free access to the SPA with the most fantastic view over the sea.

Only disappointment was their Michelin star restaurant, where the food did not square up to the standard one would expect. So avoid this and go for the one at Hotel de Paris right next door.
The breakfast restaurant was far better, with everything you could ever want.
We will return, no doubt about it!

Hermitage hotel is a nice hotel,located in the very center of Monte Carlo,near to the Casino and everything.It is part of the Leading Hotels in the World but for me the hotel even renovated is a bit old.We have been upgraded because of our memebership to the LHW and the room was spacious with vuew over the see.Nice room,bathroom etc, wifi in the room (charded!) but a bit old already.The hotel has been splendid 20 years ago,but now it's kind of a old. The breackfast was good (if you have continental included in the rate be carefool to say it to the people there,as they immediately offers you just,coffee etc and then charge you for that).The hotel has a SPA which this time I didn't tried but it was olso kind of a old and I didn't like it particulary.
