The service at the hotel was wonderful. They were competent in dealing with our English and met our requests.
When we arrived we were surprised to have a room with two twin beds and asked if there was a way for them to put the beds together the next morning. They simply moved us to the room next door and all was well.
We liked the fact that we were in a hotel that would allow us to have a kitchen if we chose to use it for a fairly small fee.
It was within walking distance of restaurants, Caldea, transportation and, of course, shopping.
This was our first time to Europe and we were surprised by the difference in cleanliness standards in the hotels. This is the main reason the hotel received an average rating, otherwise I would have given them an above average. The cleanliness had mostly to do with heavy foot traffic stains in the carpet and marks on the walls. The daily cleaning seemed fine.
