Let's start)) We were in Andorra in January of this year! When our bus took us to the hotel, it was night and we were so tired that we didn't notice room's minuses:1) it was very dirty 2) the window looked out on the street and it didn't open!!! So, on next day we asked to change it and they gave us the key of another room and we went to look it. It was amazing! Big balcony and we could see mountains!!! Big bathroom!!! And the bus stop isn't far away, about 6-7 minutes to reach it! The breakfast was good, without excesses. I advise this hotel!

My husband and I drove into Andorra from Barcelona. We were at a point of wanting to stop for the evening and happened upon this hotel. At 3 stars, sometimes you don't know what you'll get, but this was a little gem. The girl who checked us in also made our drinks at the little lobby bar. Because this hotel is NOT close to nightlife or restaurants, we just stayed at the restaurant and had a very good buffet dinner.
The staff was great - all spoke English to a degree that we were able to understand each other.
It's not a new hotel, but it was clean and comfortable and the view from our room was fantastic.
They had a coin operated computer in the lobby, so were able to check e-mail and news very comfortably.

This wasn't our first stay at the Silken Eurotel, but they were offering 3 nights for the price of 2 so at a total cost of £76 for 3 nights it would have been silly not to stay here again..

The Hotel is clean and functional and not unlike many other "chain style" hotels in Spain. We arrived early, having caught the overnight train from Paris to L'Hospitalet and our room wasn't ready. That said, the receptionist was very helpful and let us drop our bags off.

We were given room 211 which is South facing and one of the few with a balcony and a view down to the river below or across to Caldea. The room was clean and functional, the bath was nice and deep and the shower powerful.

Breakfast (included in room rates) is a buffet affair, with the usual sausages / scrambled eggs available along side the traditional european style breakfast. Given that it's included in the cost of the room, the quality is fine.

Location wise the hotel is not in the main commercial centre but is only a short bus ride or 15 minute walk. The wonderful spa centre - Caldea - is about 5 minutes walk.

All in all - if you are after somewhere relatively simple, but offers value for money, and don't mind not being right in the centre of town then I don't think you can go wrong.

We found it complicated to get to the hotel on the hillside. The parking is down a very busy road. The only staff was not very pleasant and after we saw 2 or 3 different rooms we left quickly. Good thing we did not reserve before. It was a dark hotel, old, and very smelly. It made a very bad impression.
