Due to reconstruction in progress in Crowne Plaza during check-in we were moved to Plaza Hotel Andorra using our reservation features including Suite room type. And it was worth visiting Hotel Plaza which is much more looking like 5-star hotel.

Positives:
- nice and clean junior suite room with all the amenities incl. CD/MP3 player and comfortable bed. Not huge, but enough space for two.
- nice lobby and atmosphere inside the hotel;
- very polite and efficient service by reception staff.

Negatives:
- expensive parking (21.3 EUR per night);
- strange restaurant policy (2 restaurants, one offers only 3-course menu of the day, the second is available only is booked beforehand).

This is a good example of a hotel that looks great when you go in but is not worth the price at all! We got a deluxe room which only means that you have a little sitting room and attached to it, no door nothing, you have a room without window, like a tiny bunker, not cozy at all! And the bunker was surrunded by the wall of the next room which winds all around the bed so you could hear all the noise of the people banging the door of the wardrobe, walking around and it all went on all around your bed, very strange. The whole hotel looks great, but it was all done thinking about looks and not about comfort. All floors are made of wood which looks smashing but you hear everything, the people walking on the corridor just outside the thin wall of your bedroom, walking above you, next door, the wheels of the suitcases.... hell! We tried to go to the restaurant one evening but it all looked rather dead and the personnel were not very awake either so we just went somewhere else! You have to pay to use the spa or the parking.

Booked 2 nights thru their website for my wife, 2 year old and myself. Requests were non smoking room, crib and a delux room all for more then 500€.
We got a smoking room full of ashtrays and a couch... we called down asking for the non-smoking room we needed and were told they didn't have any and that there was only one non-smoking floor which was fully booked... the crib they brought up was a shame, our daughter did not sleep all night and had a rash, definitely not clean. The employees had an attitude and not friendly at all.
The next morning we wanted to check out and the lady at the reception desk said she was pretty sure I would get refunded for the night we did not stay... just got a call from them saying they would not!
It is a shame that this place is called a 5 star hotel. We stay in many 5 stars and this is barely a 3.

This hotel is a really excellent one. Modern and elegant. Comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated, varied breakfast, friendly staff. In short, a good stay in Andorra.
