Stayed here September 2011. Payed a bit more than we normally would as was special occassion. Hotel is ok but have had much better in Turkey at half the price. Food is good and varied with deserts coming out on top. Also drinks are good with good selection and don't seem to be watered down. Ents team also work really hard and put on some great shows. Bus is a little walk away but quite regular and cheap at 2 euros all day pass. Paphos is nice and also very resonable prices for food and drinks. If we go back to Cyprus we have both said we would prefer to go SC or B+B and stay in Paphos. Plenty of good bars with entertainment.

We stayed here in october for our friends wedding which took place at st georges church, this church was only 5mins away. We found this hotel fantastic very friendly and helpful. Entertaniment staff where great :-) made many friends. The rooms are basic but fine for you just to sleep in. There is also a walk you can take on the cliff edge with fantastic sunsets, this is where my fiancee proposed to me was very romantic, the staff gave us a complementary bottle of chapagne. the all inclusive food was great loads of different choice, the only thing i would say about the all inclusive is that the bar shuts at 12 and you then need 2 pay 4 your drinks. All in all i would recommend to stay here had a fantastic time i would definately go back. THANKS to all the staff for a great holiday :-)

I am a well travelled person and have seen 5 of 6 continents, stayed at many many resorts.

This is NOT a 4 star resort. Possibly a 2 star.

The very first night, we had hair in our sheets, when we complained, instead of sending house keeping, we were given a sheet to change ourselves. OK...well, this is maybe the way its done in Cyprus as this was our first visit.

The next morning there was an ant infestation in our kitchen. We called it in, and someone did show up. Sprayed the ants and they left the dead cadavres there for 5 days.

The shower curtains were laced in brown residue at the bottom.

The mattresses were 5 inches think we springs protruding so far that I actually had an imprint on my side in the morning.

The heater in my parents room did not work. It took them 3 days to fix it. They are 65+ and their room was 8c at night.

The food....omg....the food was NEVER hot. Luke warm at best, and completely and utterly tastless.

To get a hair dryer for my wife for New Years, we actually had to make a HUGE scene in the lobby, as our name was on a waiting list for 3 days!!!! For a hair dryer!!!????

The piece de resistance was getting severe food poisoning. I had to get injected as I was throwing up for 15 hours straight. Had I done this for another hour, they would have needed to hospitalize me for dehydration.

I have all the photographs and receipts to prove everything.

I spent 8500 Euros for a week, that included my flights from Canada to the UK and then picked up my parents and treated them to a vacation.

When I complained to the General Manager, he gave us 2 free lunches and 4 drinks at the bar.

No thank you! I skipped the lunches and I rather pay for my drinks that to feel they provided reasonable accomodations for our stay there.

The trip was not all bad. Paphos is beautiful, we got a fantastic Taxi service that took us everywhere. His name is Chris and his company is called Chris Taxi. Fantastic service!

The food at Oliveto was excellent, as was the service and last but not least they had some spectaculaor sight seeing.

We will never got back to Cyprus as 8500 Euros can get you a weeks stay at many many more resorts that are better.

Stayed here the last week of November 2011. It's outside of the regular holiday season so was a bit quiet and the pool bar was closed however it was amazing.

I traveled alone and the bar and entertainments staff (esp Yannis and Annis) made sure I was involved and had a great time reception staff were great as well and really helpful. Only negative staff wise was the restaurant staff were very surprised i was on my own (not great if your feeling a bit out your depth)

Great links into Keto paphos, tomb of the kings and coral bay - all of which kept me active for the 3 days I decided to explore and on the other 3 days relaxing by the pool was amazing always got a sun lounger. I also had a massage on the Thursday taking advantage of the sale in the spa it was excellent mins and it was only 30 euro!!!!

Will be going back!
