We stayed here for a week at the end of season. The hotel is a wonderful place that has grown organically over around thirty years - that said the designers of additions have been careful to ensure the buildings all match.
Staff - excellent in all respects. There were no language issues, but always friendly & helpful and most importantly; they knew when to leave you alone.
Room - OK, not mind-blowing, but big, freshly decorated, enough furniture and cooking equipment too. New mattresses will be needed soon............
Housekeeping - not as thorough as we like, but we are really too fussy! The room was swept, mopped and the bathroom cleaned every day.
Pool & grounds - very tidy, well maintained and the pool in great condition
Bar - great, simple, fresh foods prepared to order. Perfect. Good selection of local and branded drinks.
Location - ten minutes walk from harbour area - plenty close enough but also far enough away from the bars, clubs etc.

If you want a good value, clean apartment to use as a base, run by a thoughtful, attentive Cypriot family, go here. Will WILL go back!

We did not stay in pagona appartments but we went to visit as lots of people told us it was lovely. We were not dissapointed everybody made us welcome and we ended up going there for meals and drinks most days. The staff and the family who run it were very friendly, we are going back to stay there next year.

Just returned from my 5th, i think, stay at the pagona apartments. I just love it there, it is just like a home away from home, the owners are now like family and the welcome we receive is just amazing. The have a great swimming pool area and its never too crowded which is great. There is also a fab pool bar/restaurant which serves all kinds of drinks cocktails and home-cooked local dishes as well as western favorites. The aparments are basic, no telephones or TV's but reception can provide one if needed. Although basic they are very clean and comforable with spacious balcony or terrace areas. Plenty of safe parking for cars too. This is my favorite hotel in all of Paphos and cannot wait to stay there again next year.

On arriving at Pagona for the 16/17th visit we were met by the two sons who now have taken over mostly. The staff are second to none for there attentivity, the recepionist Froso will arrange a Airport Taxi or anything else. The Bar Food is great, try the very large chops if you dare, youn will need a few pints of Keo after it! We stayed in a Studio which was well equipped and comfortable. The pool is well laid out for young and old alike with Bar Staff always keeping an eye on things from above. You would not guess that you were only a 10min walk from the "Bar Street" everything is so laid back. The Bar itself is very spacious with great staff and very good hours, cheers guys! This is a place where people, young and old, meet and keep returning time after time after time because of the Family, location and the atmosphere. Pafos itself is going through changes some for the best and some not but the people remain the same warm and very friendly so why don't you come and lay back with the rest of us mine's a pint cheers!.
