I found Pagona Hotel Apts via the internet. We only decided to go on holiday the week before and as it was mid august it would be a difficult challenge. But after some searching on the internet and a little comparing between hotels I decided on this one. It's located just 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre so it was very convenient as I would not need to stress for parking in the city. The rooms were clean and air conditioned (vital if your on holiday in Cyprus over the summer). It was also quite cheap taking into consideration the location and other similar hotels in the area. We spent the days at the pool area, where there is also a cafe/snack bar (with cheap beer), a very neat swimming pool.

The room had a kitchenet, so we could cook and have breakfast and lunch without adding much to our costs.

I recommend Pagona hotel apts to couples, families and friends!

Rooms were spacious and clean with air con. However no TV!! Was great to have a clothes line on our own balcony. Pool was lovely, and we ate breakfast once at the pool bar which was ok. Only thing is you really need a car to get right into town but other than that, quite a nice hotel, would stay here again!

Very surprised by this 3* family run hotel, the hotel is very well kept, clean and very friendly. The bar area is very nice and the staff are wonderfull. The room are suffiecent, and only walking distance to the shops bars and resturants... all in all a very nice stay. I recommend this hotel 100% .

Went to Pagona Hotel Apartments on a big family trip - we had a great time together as a family, but it was not because of Pagona!

Pool area is really nice and clean and there are always plenty of sun beds available. The only problem about the pool was that it made those who had white in their swim suits end up with green and ruined swim suits. What a shame! The owner just told us it was because we didn't take a shower after the swim. Not true. Every time I had a swim, I went to my room and changed, and made sure to wash my swim suit!

When it comes to our room, especially the bathroom, I'm disgusted. The toilet was pure black inside from lack of cleaning and it smelled worse than a public toilet. The shower curtain was ripped and the towels had holes as did the sheets.

The mattreses were horrible and we didn't have one good night of sleep.

The kitchen is very simple, but it worked fine for us. Some people would probably wish for more, but we just needed it to cook for our baby.

The cleaning was very superficial. I guess it took the lady less than 10 minutes to clean the room and all she did was to wash the floor and put some cleaning liquid in the toilet. She didn't touch anything else despite it being clearly dirty.

The Chinese girl serving in the restaurant/bar was a big plus to the place. She was very sweet and loved to chat with the guests. She often seemed not to understand what you ordered, but always surprised by serving the rigth food and drinks. The food was okay, but nothing to write about.

What made our trip nice was really that we had a great time together and that the pool area was nice despite it making our outfits green.

Would II recommend this place to someone else? Not really! I would guess we were staying in one of the older apartments and that some of the newer ones are better, but then why not upgrade the older ones?!
