Excellent place to stay, friendly staff, meals excellent, pool, nothing is too much trouble. It may be a two star but is cheaper and better quality, even ex pats eat here as its so good, the food is to die for at reasonable prices. Will definately be going again as we were so impressed, well done Stavros (the owner).

We did not stay in the hotel but in two villas that are owned by Stavros & Skevi just behind the childrens play area Lunar Park there were nine of us in total and each villa had its own pool as big as the pool in the apartment block, we ate at the restaurant every night and because my Wife and I are Vegetarians were over the moon with the choice of meals that were prepared fresh everynight, my Sister in law lived in Cyprus and is a very good friend of Stavros Skevi and Stavros Mother and Father who live near St Georges Bay, they live on a farm that supply all the fresh food anf fruit served at the resturaunt, any one wanting a fantastic holiday might want to consider the villas instaed of the appartments, most of Coral Bay is owned by this family and most of the shops also and leased out, they also own several luxury Yachts that you can hire for the day, a trip not to be missed luxury all the way.
The staff at the restaurant Sharif, Costas , Stelious and Maria are all fantastic at their jobs and cannot do enough for you, if there is something you are not happy with I suggest you see Stavros and take it up with him on a personal bassis! I am sure knowing what a great guy he is he would do everything to eleviate the problem.
I would recomend the restaurant and the villas to any one but have never been in to the appartments, will put on some photos when I have downloaded them.

The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Not the best appartment we've ever stayed in but definatley not the worst. If like us you spend most of the day and eve out and about and only use your hotel for a shower and sleeping then these appartments will be fine for you. The food was excellant, we went half board (which we havent done before) which was well worth the money. The service was also excellant and staff were very good also, they work very hard indeed. The owner was very friendly and he made all his guests feel very welcome. Coral Bay itself is a nice resort and the beach is nice. Everyone is very friendly and there is good atmosphere. We wouldnt go during school holidays as for us it would be too busy but it is a great place for kids (if you have them). The only down side was we found the holiday quite an expensive one, eating out, drinks etc are not cheap - especially now the exchange rate isnt very good. Having said that there are always ways round everything if you look hard enough. All in all a very nice, relaxing holiday with good food, and lovely weather. Holidays are what you make of them

Initial thoughts on arrival was that on the surface it didnt appear to be as bad as reviews I'd read prior to the trip.
The room was dated, sparsely furnished and in general need of an update; looked like it had been furnished from a garage sale or second hand shop! Bathroom was adequate but again 70's advacado suite and tiling which looked like it had been done by a contestant from DIY gone wrong!
The pool is a decent size for the size of the hotel but lacks a cooling system....not much respite from 35c outside temperatures...the fake mosiac lining could do with a good clean as could all the loungers and outside furniture. Neptune appears to be a watering hole favoured by retired Brits, the treatment they receive over paying guests is a bloody joke....continually having their drinks topped up, it appears the staff cannot do enough for them. Guests on the other hand have to pretty much fend for themselves. We ate there twice (breakfast) I was asked whether i'd like chips with my bacon & eggs....at 9am this should give you an idea of the ' typical' Neptune guest that they cater for....we spoke with guests on half board, limited menu and barely edible were the comments we heard.....although some people did rave about the food (retired brits)
The brochure suggests the beach is 500 metres away....its a good 25 minute walk. Decent resturants close by and the supermarket is a 5 minutes walk.....my advice would be to pass on the Neptune, I would like to say 'cheap and cheerful' but cheap would be a better description!!
