This was supposed to be the the best holiday that we had had. Oh dear how could we have been.
There was me my wife my 5 children my oldest daughters husband and our 18 mounth old grandaughter.
When we arrived we wasdumped on the main rd by the tour operator (thompson) who i will never use again, and told that the reception is through that door there. We entered thruogh the door to be greeted by a rude uninterested receptionist. After we had checked in we were pointed in a direction to the other side of the pool, so off we went carting all of our cases across to the other side. When we opened the doors the foisty smell of sewage hit us instantly. We entered to inspect the rooms to find dirty bedding ripped shower curtains and a childs cot so dirty that i wouldn,t even let my dog sleep in. We ended up after 3 hours of sitting around in the reception area and numourous arguments with the manageress and the so called thompson help line finding another hotel near by checked ourselves into it . We had a fantastic greeting opur luggage taken to our apartments on a golf cart and carried up any stairs. It cost us an extra £2000 to stay here and recieved no compensation back off Thompson, but it was worth it just as long as we didn't have to stay in "The Land Of The MINGS"

Apartments ok for a self catering holiday the remote controls that you have to hire for aircon work on every apartment so make sure to share them. Go to Karlinas bar next door food is brill say hi to Tracey at rocking chair pub food and welcoming service excellent .The water park is the best i have ever been to.As for the ants if you leave food out you will get them but who goes on holiday to cook not me.

anyone thinking of going to this hotel change ur mind this hotel is horribale theres ants crawling on the floor in ur apartment theres no air conditioning in your room and you need it wen its over 30 degrees , the pool is dirty wen i was there i got an ear infection because of that pool and so did four other people in this hotel they employ creeps , they have vents coming into the toilets from the kitchens . THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBALE

These are the worst apartments that I've stayed in over the last 30 years of travelling abroad, everything bad about them that has been written before is true, and probably an understatement.
Our studio apartment was described as self catering but lacked even the most basic crockery and untensils, cooking any kind of meal would have been impossible. The inventory was covered with notations about missing items, none of which had ever been put right. On arrival, at night, we were met by a rude, unhelpful receptionist who sent off to find our way in the dark, around two pools among seven blocks of apartments, tripping over discarded sunbeds and pool toys. We witnessed others having the same problems, an elderly couple simply got lost and had to be rescued by other guests. The apartment itself was filthy and smelly and had not been cleaned since the last vistors left, the sand from their last beach visit was thick in the shower and their sweet wrapers down the furniture, you could write your name in the dust on the window cill and the kitchen bin was filthy and stunk. The bathroon sink was blocked and the patio light did not work, although the maintenance man fixed them as soon as we asked him. Despite being described as fully air condioned only a small proportion of apartments have units fitted, and it costs £3.50 Cy per day to hire the control unit.
The whole complex is shabby and run down with an uncared for look and feel. The cleaning is twice a week and consists only of providing clean sheets and loo rolls, no cleaning is done at all.
The pool has no steps for children and the surrounds have dangerously loose and missing tiles, sunbeds have no cushions.
The surrounding area is poor although there are good restruants nearby, beaches in the vicinity are not worth visting, if you want a beach holiday you must get a bus the half hour to Coral Bay.
On the plus side, the studio was large, the beds comfortable, the air con worked a treat and the bar staff were friendly, but that is not enough for a good holiday.
These apartments should be avoided, I can think of no reason why you should spend your hard eaned cash going there. I am amazed that Thomson Holidays market these sub standrd apartments.
