“Absolutely Perfect.”

We have stayed at this hotel 6 or 7 times over the past three years and it just gets better every time.

Location, rooms, service, pool, breakfast, facilities etc are all absolutely perfect. You are waited on hand and foot, everything is pleasant and enjoyable, the day spa is wonderful and the restaurants are excellent.

The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, you enjoy spending time in the hotel - not only at the pool, but for pre dinner drinks, lunch and dinner if you can't be bothered venturing out!

It is really a place to relax, enjoy the sun either at the pool or the beach (walking distance from the pool down a few steps) and sit on the balcony watching the sunset. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable.

Looking forward to re-visiting in summer 2012.

Room Tip: Having stayed in both the normal rooms and the suites, the suites overlooking the pool are my favour...

“Perfect staff”

We stayed two nights there towards the end of November, just before the hotel was to close for winter. There were very few guests so cannot say what it would be like when full (not my definition of "boutique") but this was the best hotel we stayed at in Cyprus. We had originally booked one night but when the previous booking fell through we called and arrived at 10pm and were given the same great deal as for the one night. The young Scottish gentleman at reception was perfect and extremely helpful. We had dinner in the fish restaurant which is small and intimate and the food was superb, we also had a delicious local Sauvignon Blanc. The bedroom was very comfortable (that bed...) with a lovely view of Coral Bay. It was raining all through our 4-day stay in Cyprus and temperature were only 10-14°c and we just did not feel like leaving the hotel. There is also a gym, sauna and turkish bath, very welcome during cold days. We also had dinner in the main restaurant, the food was also very good but it is very big so with only two or three tables occupied, it was less cosy than the fish restaurant. The Russian ladies serving there were absolutely charming and very helpful. If we were to go back to Cyprus, this is where we would go.

“A nice place for a holiday in the sun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

We spent a week in October and enjoyed it very much - once we'd changed rooms after spending the first night in a 'sunset' (read: parking lot) room with rather tired furnishing and an uncomfortable mattress. We were moved easily enough when we asked and had no complaints after that. The strange thing is, the rooms were almost literally identical, but everything must have been refurnished in the sunrise room because it was all so much nicer. An uncomfortable mattress in a good hotel is pretty unforgiveable though. We only ate breakfast (a very good buffet) and lunch there, preferring places in Paphos and elsewhere for dinner. The lunch menu at the open-to-the-public beach bar was quite small, but the quality was good and service generally good, though the service level did vary widely depending on exactly who is involved - consistency is not their strong suit.
We made use of the spa and can report it was excellent - both the facilities themselves and the staff.
Overall, we liked the hotel. We went during the school holidays and it's attraction lay in not allowing children. It delivered on that, the location is good, wifi worked well, the room was ok (in the end) and the sun shone.

Room Tip: Sunrise rooms!
