I went to kefalos in august 2011 with my 2 sons being 16 and 14 we had such a lovely time. The appartments, hotel, swimming pool areas, and pool bar are all spotless. All staff from bar staff, entertainment , the man who gives you pool towels, housekeepers and reception staff are all fantastic and very friendly especially jeff who drives you down to your appartment in his buggy :). In fact i left my photos of my boys on our appartment table and didnt realise till i got home so i emailed them and very kindly elena sent them to me, thankyou elena . I was a little worried at first as i have a food alergy being celiac (no wheat and gluten) but all staff was very specific in what i could eat at meal times. The food is nice and plenty to choose from, they also have a beautifull fish restuarant right on the beech which is lovely. I met some very nice people there. There is lots of restuarants around to eat, and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which will take you to the harbour which is lovely to see .There is a little supermarket on site a little pricey but i think they all are on holidays.I would reccomend this holiday to everyone, it is such a lovely place right on the beach, brilliant friendly staff, lovely and clean, lovely attmosphere and im hoping to go back in august this year fingers crossed ................. :)
