For the price I can't fault this hotel, stayed there for a week hb and the food, service and overall appearance of the hotel was clean and more than adequate. Probably the only criticism would be the beds were a little on the hard side. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Although i would agree that the hotel does not warrant a 5* it was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. We only stayed HB so only experienced the breakfast which was very good, plenty of choice. Rooms were cleaned everyday. We did have a dinner one evening in the hotel but found not to be a lot of choice possibly because it was coming to the end of service.
We did find a nice friendly english run bar over the road called DT'S which do very nice food. Also a cypriot restaurant called Gustoso lovely food excellent prices situated about 400yds on the left if you turn right coming out of the hotel.

very good price for a family and nice location clean rooms. Not too much things to do in the hotel. No wife free internet

Our welcome at this hotel was second to none with a very friendly male receptionist who attended to all our requests. The service was very good at the hotel and the atmosphere was relaxing and didn't feel too showy.

The wardrobe sliding door did not operate fully and they had forgotten to paint around the fire detector on the ceiling which made us laugh every time we got into bed. But our room was large and the daily cleaning service very good. The food was okay, but we ate out most evenings.

As other people have noted; the beach really is not for bathing, but Paphos is not really the side of the island to visit if you want that facility, far better to head east to the Protaras area for the beach type holiday in our opinion. However, the hotel is situated next door to 'The tomb of the Kings' which along with the famous Mosaics in Paphos, are well worth a visit.

To conclude, 'The Venus Beach' felt restful and welcoming and we thank them for looking after us.
