I stayed here for a few days in January.
We had a lovely room with a view of the pool area. There was a complementary bottle of wine and fruit.
The staff were wonderful.
Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, with so much choice.
On departure we also had a nice bottle of olive oil left for us.
I was here on buisness, but would love to return for a holiday.

This was our third visit to the amathus in paphos and we were not dissapointed. Our room was
a large double on the third floor with a balcony giving magnificent views of the large pool and gardens and out to sea, an ideal outlook. The evening meals were varied and delicious. Staff were friendly and obliging and made a relaxing week pass really quickly

we are very big fans of the amathus hotels , we allways go to the one in rhodes every year, Amathus hotels said we should try the paphos or limassol hotel , we chose the paphos hotel , we stayed there for a week from the 24th of jan . If your looking for a quality hotel you will not be disapionted, our room was a traditonal room with a sea view ,there was every thing in there that one could want ,the room was kept meticulously clean by the maids , and i do mean meticulously clean to . the bath room was spotless you only had to look at the brass ware to see how clean it was . oh yes on arrival in our room we had fresh fruit and a bottle of wine .amathus strive to make your holiday the best, they have never let us down. the pool was one of the best pools you could wish for, with a very well maintained beatiful gardens,A lot of money has been invested in the hotel, the nubar is ultra modern , it was great going for cocktails just befor we had our evening meal .we did also visit the hotel in limassol and was kindly shown round the hotel ,seeing the rooms and other versilities which all was out of this world , and thats why amathus are one of the leading hotels of the world . i could go on and on so all i can say try either hotel you won't be disapointed.

We travelled here in June 2011 and found everything excellent. The rooms are comfortable and spotless and our sea view room had a beautiful view with its own small terrace. The grounds and common parts of the hotel are well presented with a modern feel - spotless and very well maintained.

The food in the evening is fantastic with some of the best dishes I have ever tasted from a buffet.

The only down side was that there was not a great beach area - but Cyprus is not known for its beaches and the hotel was in a sheltered bay, with a great swimming area, which made up for this.

The hotel was a little way from Paphos centre but there is a lovely sea path to walk along into Paphos itself - although the hotel is much nicer than Paphos so we did not bother after one walk in.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional and the managers of various departments made a point to chat with guests.

The hotel is 5 star, but good value and deserves its place as one of the leading hotels of the world.

We will return.
