I visited the hotel last weekend, due to a conference that took place there. Hotel used to be very good, but It was left to age without major renovations. One gets the impression that time stopped in the early nineties. The worst part was that in the morning, when we went for breakfast, outside the restaurant there were towels and buckets on the floor, since the ceiling was dripping!!!!
Food was below average for all the meals.
Honesty, the only positive thing about this hotel is the location...

When I booked, the website stated that refurbishments were under way and to please excuse the inconvenience. Upon arrival Jan 2012, there were no refurbishments under way. The previous reviews I had read about cold food and dated furnishings still seem to apply. Is it so difficult to keep food hot? Entertainment is almost non-existent. The TV hardly ever works when you occasionally want to watch it. The good things: The staff are friendly, the place is quiet, the view is fantastic, the waves lull you to sleep. You get what you pay for, but this hotel is only a three star or less.

This place needs major refurbishment done to keep up with other hotels in the area. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Would not recommend.

We friends booked three of rooms on Poseidonia hotel and we had a great fun. But not at the hotel but out of the hotel. One of my friends booked rooms through their website(not sure though) www.cyprotelshotels.com and when we entered the reception we found a great & warm receiving. They took us to our rooms unluckily we had rooms from different floors but still they are good. There are some issues but still we loved their service and food. When we talk about food...it was amazing and we really loved it. We used to come to room only at night and don't find it to be unworthy. To me.. it is one of the perfect places in Cyprus.
