We loved the location, right on the coast and away from so-called tourist area.
Stayed in the sea view room, and the view is great. Falling asleep to the sound of lapping waves was divine - we were able to keep the balcony door open all night long, despite it was mid Dec. Waking up to the sunshine was even better, greeting the sun and the sea from the balcony while watching fishermen… The street view is not very nice but the rooms on that side are significantly more spacious.
Sea view room size was ok; we had an extra living room connected to it which made the whole experience much nicer (on the 6th floor).
Very good breakfast can also be taken at a terrace adjacent to the restaurant, facing the sea. Some cats running around make for children entertainment, so do a swing and a slide at the corner of the yard. Right from there we could take a long walk along the coast which was very nice.
On the other side, across the street and a few minutes away Debenhams supermarket offers a very good choice of food and beverage. Stay away from their hairdressers on the top floor who shamelessly rip off tourists, charged 20 Euro for a straight line haircut for a toddler who wasn’t even moving to make it hard, 3 minute affair, no washing, no styling, no smiling either. Sorry I had to vent it here, has nothing to do with the hotel.
The hotel was undergoing a renovation that was almost finished and didn’t disturb much, the lobby and the common areas are stylishly finished, our room was newly renovated and nice, although the lighting scheme could be less complicated.
I personally found mattress and pillows hard and uncomfortable, therefore only 4 points. Otherwise it was a great stay and the hotel personnel friendly and helpful.
