We stayed here for one night on our way home, the third time we've stayed here. The hotel has been refurbished since then, and the sea view room was excellent. Reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly; however, the same could not be said for the restaurant. We arrived early evening, and decided to eat in the hotel. The restaurant was very quiet, perhaps with 6 guests eating. We were grudgingly told there was an a la carte menu, but there was no attempt to give us one, and we got the message - buffet it was! The wine waiter told us there were 4 house white wines, but seemed unable to tell us the difference between them, only the most popular one. The food on offer was tired and very unappetitising, service was bored and unsmiling, and staff had collected their own meals before we left. Breakfast was OK, usual choices. We were charged for breakfast although our booking had included it; however, that was sorted at reception, but the discussion between reception and restaurant staff over who had messed up could have waited until we had left.
Quite a change, and a big disappointment given the excellent service we experienced here in the past. Saved by a very comfortable bed and a fabulous view!

I have just returned home after spending a wonderful week end with my family (two adults plus two children) at the recently renovated Crowne Plaza Hotel Limassol. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we immediately realized that this is definately the place to stay when in Limassol. The whole hotel including ofcourse the public areas is modern and stylish like all the crowne plaza hotels that we had stayed in the past, the rooms were very spacious (even for a family of four) and nicely decorated, the leisure facilities are most likely the best you can find at a four star hotel in Cyprus and last but not least i should mention the wonderful local staff of devoted employees that work there (something rare nowadays in the Cypriot hotel Industry) that were very professional and made every effort so that we could have a great time!

I stayed at this hotel for one night.. the only possive aspects were the location front lobby area which was modern and clean,the bedroom and double bed which was a good size. Plus the aromatherapy kit.
To begin with the reception staff were quite rude, lacked eye contact and from what it seemed in a hurry to send us to our room. They were not friendly or welcoming upon arrival and also when entering the hotel after greeting them from a night out, they did not greet back.
When we went to the room there were no chocolates or fruit as stated and there was only one robe a slippers which they sent to our room after having to call them.
The bathroom was old, tired and MOLDY it seemed that they only renovated the bedroom area... The first two floors were under renovation which they lacked to inform us pior to booking.. very inconvenient. Lastly the indoor swimming pool ( or big tub) area was old and univiting.

Although there were some good aspects of this hotel the negatives were greater bad value for money and i doubt that i will be returning.

This hotel is right on the coast, it doesn't look much from the outside but improves once you get inside. The check in was simple. the staff were very polite. We had a room on the fifth floor over looking the main road, the traffic was not a problem as we could hardly hear it. The room had two large comfortable double beds with whiter than white bedding. There was a good selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate with a nice touch of two mini chocolates. The bathroom was large and very clean with a bath/shower, plenty of toiletries were provided. Slippers and bathrobe also on hand. Not much on the tv but hey you can't have it all. We will return to this hotel.
