The receptionist and the staff were very friendly,we booked a regular double room and upon check-in they said there was a sea-view room available and we could go there for free if we wanted. We took the sea-view room which was clean and tidy and had a splendid view towards the Mediterranean Sea.The hotel has a very good location. Breakfast is minimal, but adequate for the money you pay. The ocean front of Larnaca has all the stores pubs and restaurants

I hated this hotel. It wasn't totally their fault. But for better or worse it's right on the strip and when I stayed there, there was some kind of festival going on with pulsating, incredibly loud music until 2am. The crowds right outside were huge and so loud. It was like being at a party I didn't want to be at. I asked to change rooms to get away from the noise and the pleasant but unhelpful young man at the front desk couldn't help. This hotel asked me to pay as soon as I checked in, which is weird and not a good sign. The room itself was ok, but nothing worked. I went to the front desk to ask about the TV not working and the receptionist told me that they are just fakes! And the shower in the very small bathroom didn't drain well. Don't stay here. It's not even worth the budget price. Breakfast was the best part.

long weekend away to larnaca.5 minutes in the taxi,13 euros please,and im standing in the tiny lobby of a tall but not very wide hotel as middle as you can get to the beach.there are two convenience stores within 15 metres and the sports bar pub another 20 metres away where you can watch the premiership with every other knobhead in town and shout YESS,YEESSS! at the top of your voice when your team scores.
the rooms are plain but fine and well put together with good quality doors and tiles.pity they didnt use a pro decorator to freshen up the walls and ceilings,those white drips & splurges dont look good on black woodwork.dont even consider the telly,programs & reception total rubbish.
front desk was helpful & friendly.free wifi in reception.breakfast basic but wot d,you expect at this price.as everyone else has remarked,noise is a real issue with the larnaca city hotels,and you should consider whether the beach hotels to the east would suit you better.

I work in Larnaca regularly, so not looking for anything special. Les Palmiers is just about acceptable if you can cope with the noise from the disco downstairs. The location is great, about 10 metres from the beach, and very central. The staff do their best to stop undesirables (including a number of young Eastern European women entertaining male 'friends' on an hourly basis).

The rooms are basic but clean, the showers are tiny, and most are held together with tape and elastic bands, but do the job.

You can use wi-fi free in the lobby, which is great, but no other creature comforts.
