This place is filthy..rooms very dated, small, cramped and smell disgusting..had evening dinner there and regretted it..I feel very cheated by staying here..one member of staff(tall skinny greek guy) who was constantly leering at every female entering the dining room was overheard by my dinner guest (who is of cypriot origin) commenting to the waiter that he wanted to have sexual intercourse with all the "dirty foreign" female guests! amazing!...checked out after one night,broken aircon and the bed as so filthy with stains on the sheets..the only way we could sleep as to put our beach towels over the bed and lie on them. disgraceful hotel an embaressment to Cyprus.Dont stay

Rooms are very tired but kept very clean, well done to cleaning staff .. lift was permanently out of order and I climbed the 86 steps each day... decided to make it an exercise and got on with it.. Entertainment ( Greek Night , Tex Mex and Arabian Night ) were excellent but methods of payment for drinks on the night were a nightmare it proved very difficult to pay as you go ??.. The music and dancers on the night were very good but the volume from the speakers are way too high and defeats any attempt to speak to those at your table.. Food is very good and plenty of it .. Reception staff need to learn to smile more ..I didn't find them very friendly when asking them questions.. Staff at breakfast were very effecient and good variety of local food.. All in all I would return I feel they are making a big effort to get this Hotel up to a higher level..

+ The internet booking worked flawlessly

- The room needs some serious repairs.
- the lift was out of order and had been for some time, so carrying your bags to the 3rd floor (which according to the hotel was the hotel's 1st floor) was painful.
- The bed was by far the most uncomfortable one during my european trip. Few loose springs pushed my spine so badly that I woke up 5 times during the night because of the pain.
- rude service at the bar, with very poor english understanding.

Hotel is very average, it has a new patio area at the front and new pool on roof which are nice. The rooms are very 'tired' and in need of decoration and repair (ie you get what you pay for). Sea View Rooms should be described as side sea view. The hotel next to the Flamingo is empty and is home to many pedgeons and cats and as the hotel is very close to the Flamingo, the real view you get is of a a derelict building sporting only the 'mess' the pidgeons have made. Breakfast was average too, with the same choice of food each day. Staff seemed to be either Russian or Polish with limited English, some were friendly, some were not. The hotel had good entertainment on the patio area each night. If you are not wanting to use the small balcony, and just want a base then this hotel is ok with the beach right in front of it. NB: To be fair, we complained about the rooms overlooking the pidgeons and the hotel did move us the next day when space was available. We did take photos of all the problem areas but do not feel its fair to show them as the hotel did what they could to rectify the problem.
