I went with friends during peak season. The apartments are ideally located, just 10 minutes walk away from the harbour and a short drive from the beach. We were surprised at how spacious our rooms were, we also had a well equipped kitchen and a lovely lounge. The family who run the place were friendly and always willing to help. If peace and tranquility are what you're looking for, this is the place to go.

A really nice place, Kyrenia is a very charming town, quite and relaxing. The apartment we had was huge, with all the necessary equipment for self catering, the whole complex was immaculate. The owners are an Anglo-Cypriot family whose warm welcome and great hospitality really made this a special holiday.

Apartment was very spacious and in a good location; only about 10 minutes walk into town. There's a small pool and sun terrace, but the place lacks atmosphere. The owners were nice enough but I felt that they seemed pretty disinterested in terms of making sure you're stay was a great one - for example, half way through the week we asked for clean sheets and towels, and were told basically we couldn't have them as we were only allowed a change once a week. We also asked for an extra sheet as I had to take to sleeping in the living room because my partner couldn't sleep with the fan on (it was too noisy) and I was too hot without it! We didn't get the sheet. The air conditioning didn't work, and you really need it, even at the end of September.

Beautiful apartments, well equipped (but no tea/coffee welcome pack). However…ours was filthy. We had to go out and buy cleaning materials before unpacking! These apartments had everything going for them but were let down by the lacklustre attitude of the owners – “If you bring your sheets and towels down, I will give you clean ones”!! Aircon doesn’t work – a small portable fan was provided, but I would imagine the heat would be unbearable in the summer. The shower took a very long time to drain and the shower head would only stay in one position. The airer provided for drying clothes was solid rust. TV provided, but only local stations available.
