Modern hotel, 10 min walk from old town. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have now stayed here twice. We love the price, location etc.. What I do not like is the instant cappucino instead a normal 1 made with espresso at breakfast. Also the pillows are not good and I also found this to be the case in the Paris Novotel. We will definitely stay again but may bring my pillow from home.

Overall a good hotel. After trying out a couple of other hotels in the area, I will stick to this one for my future trips to Lux.

Rooms are ok. Biggest complaint is lack of soundproofing: I could hear the people above me walking and on one Saturday morning they started construction in a room close enough that I felt the drill was next to my bed.

Work area was also just ok - say 3.5/5. They had an innovative expandable desk area that seemed really cool when I first saw it but less cool after a few evenings of work and emails. An office chair with wheels would also be a welcome upgrade.

Staff was competent and helpful except one unfortunate incident where there was no WiFi Internet in my room (I had three devices suffering the same symptom). I called down to the front desk and the very sweet and polite lady effectively replied "well you're the only one complaining so I'm not going to do anything about it unless I get a few more complaints."
