My wife and I have returned from our 5 week honeymoon in Western Europe...Our travels took us through Luxembourg...

We arrived in Luxembourg on a Thursday, with no reservations. We drove our rental car around the city and after stopping at a few hotels, we stumbled upon this hidden gem.

Luxembourg is an expensive town, as we found out...A quick inquiry to some hotels in the same area revealed rates of mostly over a 100 Euros per nite (Some of these places looked quite dodgy)...We managed to get a room at Bella Napoli for 49 Euros per nite, which included a nice breakfast in the Italian restaurant on the main floor.

The rooms were simple and clean, no T.V., but we didn't care...Who goes to Europe to stay in their Hotel Rooms...We got out and enjoyed walking through the old city. We then came back to the hotel and ate in the Italian Restuarant/Pizzeria below the hotel. I gotta say this was the best Italian meal of our trip...(We had just been in Italy a week before)...Apparently all the pasta is hand made on site...Very yummy...

We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend this place for travellers seeking great bang for your buck...

Experienced travellers visiting Luxembourg know the Hotel Bella Napoli and come back. Budget hotel - you get all the basics together with clean, modern bathrooms complete with toiletries and daily clean towels. No TV in room. Spartan - but spotless! Moreover, breakfast is an incentive to wake up. Brilliantly smelling coffee, baguette and brown toast with a myriad of options - jams, hazelnut cream, pork pate, liver pate, honey etc. - enough for a lion! All for just 38EUR - which is the lowest in Luxembourg. Very recommended.
