If this was London, it would be equivalent to staying in Soho: the hotel is surrounded by sex shops, a tattoo parlour and nightclubs playing bad eighties disco.

The room was clean, with a power shower, but it was impossible to open the windows due to the noise, so the room was very hot at night. Oh, and there's an Italian restaurant below, but you'll probably want to stroll to the main square, which offers a variety of cuisines.

We checked out the next morning, tired.

Give this hotel a miss - there are plenty of better hotels within walking distance of the railway station, at a moderat price.

The place is located above an italian restaurant and you will find it much quicker if you ask the locals/taxi dirver for Trattoria del Quattro.

It has an excellent position- 200 m from the main train and bus stations and 15 min walk to the old part of the town.

The reception looks a little questionable, but the rooms are clean and cosy. An exellent continental breakfast is served in the restaurant.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but you wont get far with English or German- mostly they speak only French. A lot of the staff members comes from former Yugoslavia so you can also communicate in Serbian or Croatian.

All in all- a very good cost/value ratio!
