Stayed here for 2 days on business. I found the staff to be friendly and very efficient. It also felt as if nothing was too much trouble for them. Pretty late in the evening I discovered that I needed a flip chart sheet. The woman in reception was incredibly helpful. Found me one straight away and didn't even charge!
The food here is great and lots of it. It's very unusual now to eat at a restaurant where you can refill your plate if you wish from a salad bar. I'm a vegetarian and this was wonderful for me.They appeared to have every selection you could think of. The food is cheap and they have a good menu choice also. I didn't have breakfast as I had to leave very early every morning to work but was able to return in time for lunch which was also very good. The restaurant was packed each time, and seems very popular with local people. I'm not surprised. Be aware that the dessert selection is a sin! Fantastic choice of the most mouth-watering desserts. You would need strong will power to resist.
The hotel throughout is spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are very basic but there is everything that you might need for a short stay. Free WiFi which operated super efficiently, the usual bathroom toiletries in a hotel of this standard. I bring my own anyway so that was fine. Hairdryer in the bathroom which is sensible as you can style your hair in front of the big mirror. My room had two single beds. They were not very big but were adequate.
As a female travelling alone, I felt very safe in this establishment. There is a telephone in your room and very quick response from reception. The hotel will also pick you up from the airport and drop you back if you wish. And they don't charge for that service. The airport is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel but you aren't disturbed by aircraft noise. There are buses outside that will take you into the city but at night because you are in the country it is very quiet. For the price that this hotel is charging I think they are offering very good value for money. I enjoyed my stay there and am returning again in December.

The Campanile hotel is very conveniently located, being just a 5 minute walk from the airport. A complimentary shuttle also operates (ask the airport information desk to ring and request it for you). It is also very easy to get into the city from here - there is a bus stop 50 metres from the hotel and the number 16 takes you right into the centre in about 25 minutes for 1.50 Euros. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are efficient, helpful and friendly and speak good English. The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. The television has 25 channels but only 1 of them (CNN) is in English. The hotel has a good quality restaurant, although I found breakfast a bit pricey (11 Euros) - far better to take the bus, walk into the Old Town and use one of the many excellent cafes. Because there are not many attractions or facilities in the area, I would not recommend this hotel for families or for a longer stay, but for a 2 day business trip it offers excellent value.

We chose this hotel because it was located outside of, but close enough for a quick drive to the Luxembourg city centre. Being located off the main highway and supposedly close to the airport, we were concerned about the associated noise levels, but neither source caused a disturbance during our stay.
Our room (two double beds) which included an ensuite bathroom was acceptably clean. Given that this was managed by a familiar hotel chain, the quality of our stay was expectedly decent and the amenities offered were typical (i.e., free WiFi, breakfast buffet at extra cost, free on-site parking).
Its location relative to the tourist attractions in nearby Luxembourg made it a great choice for affordable accommodations.

Cozy and comfortable. No parking fees. About a ten minute walk from the LUX airport door. 24 hour free shuttle. Very good rooms for the price. Staff was prompt and helpful. One computer in the lobby - particularly slow, could not do an airline checkin in less than 10 minutes. Restaurant on the main floor.
