Although this hotel is a little way out of the city centre it is worth making the effort to go to it. It has all the facilities you could want including a good restaurant and bar as well as a swimming pool and gym. Rooms are quite spacious and offer excellent levels of comfort. The televisions are now a bit old-fashioned (CRTs instead of flat screen TVs) and they have temporarily lost BBC, CNN and RAI but there is a full range of French and German channels. I paid only 79 euro for a double room and single occupancy. When I stayed the dinner was excellent and inexpensive for a fillet steak with lots of accompaniments. A quarter litre of wine cost just 4 euro and the fillet steak 28 euro inclusive of servce and all taxes. There is an outdoor pool for summer and the location is very rural despite being close to Plateau Kirchberg and the town centre. I was attending the European Court of Justice.
