I stayed in this hotel for a week and a half so I became pretty familiar with it and the area.
The hotel is located a few blocks from the main shopping areas and tourist areas of Luxembourg City. When the weather was nice, it was easy walking distance, although when it was raining and snowing, it wasn't quite as convenient. But alternatives in the center of the city were more expensive or lower rated.
I had read a review that suggested getting the superior room, but while this turned out to be a very nice room, it could have easily accommodated a family or group but I was by myself. I included pictures of both the superior and the standard room in my pictures.
The room had all of required amenities and was comfortable. Although, I had to unplug the mini-fridge and a lamp to have plugs to use for my computer and accessories. The hotel does not have wireless internet installed in the rooms but you can rent a wireless router for 10 euros a day. The first one I rented, the internet was so slow that I ended taking it back but I tried another and the service was very good. One of my colleagues was staying in another section and he was able to connect to a router that someone else had rented.
The hotel was easy access to/from many areas in Luxembourg, and just a bit far from the main train station to walk with luggage. The other options are a taxi (plentiful), or the city bus which stops at both the train station and just across from the hotel. We had business in several different areas of the city and were able to get there very easily by taxi.
The only thing was a bit cumbersome was that the hotel was separate from the lobby and the restaurant was in another building. The restaurant entrance was around the side and this meant walking down the hotel entrance road or going around to the street. The food was good and I ate there for breakfast several times as well as dinner on several nights when it was raining.
If you are interested in site seeing, the various sites are easily accessible with just a short walk and well worth exploring.
If you are there over the weekend, I suggest taking the city walking tour of the city offered by owner of the Parc hotels. It was very interesting to get a tour from his perspective and to see a more "local" tour of the city.
Room Tip: The standard rooms are compact but the superior room was quite large.
