The Atlantis Hotel is situated some 5 minutes walk up a fairly steep hill from Marsalforn Bay. The hotel is comfortable, spotlessly clean and all rooms are air conditioned. The hotel is a family business, the food was very good and despite a slight language difference we were made very welcome. There are two swimming pools - one indoor and one outdoor. Both pools are saline, the indoor one is heated and has a whirlpool bath at the end.There is a diving school on site (PADI) and the staff who operate the school also appear behind the bar and serve you lunch! You are in very peaceful surroundings (Gozo is quiet anyway). Bus travel around the island costs about 25 pence from anywhere to Victoria (Rabat) and then 25 pence from Victoria to anywhere else on the island. You can hire a car if you wish but Gozitian roads are like tank tracks and the standard of driving is fairly scary, unless you are hardened to the Mediterranean "behind the wheel" mentality.I would definitely go back for another stay.
