Our work team spent a couple days at the Vines in Feb 2012. Never again! Rooms were fine but getting any kind of service from the staff was impossible. Everything was "too difficult" - like water on the golf course when it was 38C outside. We had a lunch in the cafe and the food was INEDIBLE! The french fries were soaked in cold oil - greasy and uncooked. Ghastly.

I stayed in a 2 bed apartment with a group of friends. We had a great girls weekend. The location is lovely, the main hotel, pool and Spa area is good. The living area / kitchen and bedrooms of the apartment are all a great size and the balcony overlooking the golf course was huge and had a great view of the local Kangaroos.
However the actual apartments were quite basic and very tired - esp given how much they cost to stay there. They look like they were built and furnished in the early 1990's and nothing has been replaced or upgraded since then. Nothing about them could be classed as modern, contemporary or luxury. A good example of this was the outdoor furniture on the balcony - basic, dirty, white plastic - not what you expect when the price is over $350 a night.
