We stayed here in June 2010. We were staying at the Omena Hotel with my boyfriend for a night and decided to change as we noticed through their website, that the "high season" price was almost the same (Omenahotel doesn't have a parking, and parking in the streets and car parks is expensive). Also we wanted to have a room with windows that could be opened. I got a reduction with S- card, don't know how much, but we paid 86e per night for a double non-smoking standard room.
Parking wasn't free but in a car park nearby at a special price (9€ / 24 hours).
The car park was almost full but we found a place.
Room was very nice, especially the bed, but the furniture was worn out and looked like even clean it would look a bit dirty and old, like the doors, the walls in the entrance or the sides of the bed. The room was big compared to rooms in central europe. I asked for a double bed with a bath and they gave us what I asked for. The room was comfortable, windows could be opened, there was a safe box, a fridge, hair drier, fast wifi connection and all. There was also a bed for a baby... The hotel looked actually very child friendly with a game room, microwave in their restaurant, children running around, a swimming pool in their other hotel nearby to be used for free etc. During the evening there was noise from the room above with excited children screaming but not anymore after midnight.
At the reception desk, the staff was happy to use their language skills and during the breakfast the waitresses were very friendly and smiling kindly.
I would recommend this hotel especially for people with kids and also, I think it was a good value for money. Not a design or classy hotel, but warm, nice and comfortable at a reasonable price.
