Pros: I stayed in the 8th floor and it was nice and quiet.

Cons: Superior rooms for two people include only one pair of slippers and one bathrobe.

the hotel is located very central. The main shoping road is 5 minutes away. The welcome at the reception was a bit frosty. Possibilities to park the car where very bad, not much help from the receptionist. The hotel itself was good. Nice room, spacy, clean. The bed was soft and big (what I like). You can chosse differnt pillows. Unfortunately the hotel overall was a bit noisy. Wifi is free. The restaurant was really good. The pool is nice but cool (maybe for swimming after going to the sauna).

Went to Tampere in business with a colleague for 2 weeks. Our rooms were small, not narrow, but very well equiped and very roomy. The hotel have a very nice location, with a pleasant view, exactly on the center of the town... It's a quite hotel, with very good high-speed internet access and confortable temperature always... Things to improve: mostly (not only) during weekends, the rooms were clean too late and one or two times no one went there; the breakfast have always many things to choose, but there are not changes on it, of course we can change by ourselves how we want, but after two weeks looking at the same things day after day...

My wife and I only spent one night here in a superior room.
The locations is splendid with good views!

The reception staff where friendly and did their work fine.

The restaurant staff where friendly as well, but e.g. We had to wait some time to get service, no one checked if we where ok or wanted refills and many of the tables were dirty eventhough there was plenty of staff and the restaurant was half empty etc.

The superior room we booked turned out to be a Twin room though we did not mind, since Finland had a record hot summer and finns usually really have no need for AC units in hotel, so it was kinda hot (No need).
The hotel rooms and iterior are kinda comfy, but stuck in the 80's and need refurnishment. The same goes for the restaurant menu and somewhat service mentality.

The wireless internet was for free, but their code system is ridiculous. We got a 8 digit username as well as a 8 digit password that was valid for sometime, so we had to ask for a new one the next morning?

In no way do I consider the hotel as a bad one and it does it basic function of acommondating just fine, but in my opinion the entire hotel-chain concept is in a need of a makeover.
