If you are looking for the "real Finland" and love the forests and lakes' and prefer to go "Off the beaten Path", this is the place for you. Language was only a minor inconvenience, as one of the regular desk clerks spoke a good version of the "Queen's English" and the others tried their best.., often suceeding quite well, thank you. We met several local people and other travelers who were actually excited to have the opportunity to use their English skills. a school requirement since 3rd grade. We had a wonderful time, relaxing, using the Sauna and just loafing on the beach. There are numerous lakes around the lake this hotel was on, including Finland's largest lake. .
