Good location and the best bet of hotel chains in Finland for medium-sized cities. However, quite often the most popular hotel is also quite worn and "tired" - so is this one. However, you get good night's sleep, good service and a decent breakfast and that's all good.

Lahden Seurahuone is a nice hotel in the centre of Lahti. The railway station is very near, which is good, if you travel with train. The Lahti Theatre is also is nearby and when I, who lives at the countryside visit the theatre it is convenient to stay over at this hotel nearby. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good.

Came to visit Lahti just for one night, and got a great deal to Seurahuone - single room for 55 euros.

The staff was really polite and helpful, and flexible! They let me know at the check-in that it will be fine to check out later the next day, which was great for me (I was going to a wedding party).

Had a single room, with a window to the inner courtyard. There was everything I could have needed during my stay, and also a free wi-fi. Everything was clean and modern.

Location is very central. I would go back if needed to visit Lahti.

Back to Lahti Seurahuone after three years absence. Was assigned a terrible single (and I mean single) room smelling of smoke. Went to change a room and got quite a nice one facing the street, but with twin beds and bathtub. Not the grey modern type room, but a traditional one that actually was surprisingly nice. The rest of the hotel had improved a bit: restaurant seemed nicer and some worn carpets in the staircase had been replaced.

Bad: Garage was full, lifts too few, cleaning of room unsatisfactory, service not very attentive, internet very slow.

Breakfast was ok and food in the restaurant ok as well.

Will continue to prefer the Cumulus.
