Arrived late so i didn´t check the distance to downtown and i cannot comment on the view since my room had none.

Checkin OK but no upgrade or perks according to my Club Carlson Gold Card (even if the hotell was not full). The room - 914 - was small and in the usual Radisson style with wooden floor and light furniture. When i woke up in the morning the room was quite cold (it was minus 10 Celcius outside). I like to sleep in a cold bedroom but others must probably use the small portable oven that was placed in the room.

The hallways was a little dingy and dark with lot of stains on the carpet. Breakfast was up to the usual good Radisson standard. Average ok hotel but nothing more, will probably not return.

This was my first stay at a Radisson Blu property. It is a nice hotel with courteous staff. Breakfast is standard European style and elaborate. You get a good view of the harbour with small ships parked there.

I stayed in this hotel during my business trip and I really enjoyed my stay. We had a conference lasting two days and everything went just fine. Food was good, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. One big plus was that they had steam iron in the room. I really liked the swing in the lobby:-) Hotel is not located in the heart of Helsinki, but only 1-2 km´s from downtown. Anyway it is really easy to get there by tram or you can easily also walk.

We booked this hotel for one-night stay in Helsinki, and it met all the expectations. The price was affordable; we've got a spacious room for family (parents + kid + toddler). The location is not prime, but the tram #6 stops right in front of hotel, and it's frequent (ride time to central railway is ~10 minutes). Breakfast was tasty, and there was plenty. And of course free wi-fi is a must to get above one star review nowadays.
Generally -- solid impression. And a suggestion -- visit Merimakasiini restaurant while you're nearby.
