Stayed here twice this year while transitting through Vantaa, second stay down to laziness rather than desire. Staff are great, breakfast fine. Late check out easy to arrange but free shuttle to airport stops at 10 am. Rooms quiet enough but far from pretty and in desperate need of refurb. The nano-bathrooms have been mentioned already. Aircon would have made the July stay more comfortable. On the up side, there's a fair sized sauna downstairs if you know how to operate one .....

The smallest bathrooms I have ever seen in my entire life.
Thin walls, poor sound isolation. Located near the street, so quite a lot of noise because of cars with winter-spike tires (beginning of april).

The only good things I have found were tasty breakfast and shuttle to/from airport every half an hour.

Use this hotel only if you really have no other choice.

We spent two nights at this hotel. One, in June, upon arriving on an evening flight into Helsinki and the other, July 16th, the night before a very early morning flight out. We chose this hotel because it was advertised as close to the airport, had a free shuttle, included breakfast and was reasonably priced. We weren't expecting a luxury resort but a clean, reasonably comfortable and quiet place to spend a night. That's exactly what we got.

The shuttle runs every half hour til quite late at night (our pickup was at 10 PM) and it was on time. It was about a 10 minute ride to the hotel. Check-in was friendly, professional and hassle-free. The front desk staff all spoke excellent English.

The rooms are small but very adequate for what we needed and they were certainly clean. The hotel is quiet and not on any major roads. The continental breakfast was typical Scandinavian fare (no greasy bacon and eggs) but fresh and abundant. Our flight out of Helsinki was at 6:20 AM so we appreciated that the breakfast was available from 4:00 AM onward and the first shuttle ran at 5:00 AM, ample time for us to check in for our flight.

Over all, this hotel provided good value and we would highly recommend it for an overnight stay when arriving or departing from Helsinki airport.

Stayed here to be close to the airport and it was like going back to the 60s! The rooms were dated and the bathroom tiny and stank. We had to wear flip flops in the shower to try and avoid getting any disease. The rooms were also stinking hot so we couldnt sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here!
