I felt like I was sent back to the 80s. Well that said the decor of the rooms was all lovely quality however rather peach toned. I got a little kick out of the old style ice machines on each floor - I had to get ice a few times even in 0°C weather. The breakfast was superb with a great selection of flaky pastries and even traditional Finnish treats.
The hotel was easy to get to and to use as a base and right next to the market square. I'd recommend as a base but not a place to really relax in.

I've been there for business. Meeting facilities are good, rather central location, nice view on the sea. The real winner for me has been the politeness of personnell that can make a stay different from many others... I liked the Hilton standards, but with a touch of extra friendliness than you don't always find at the Hilton...

We spent three nights at this hotel and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay, The rooms are ok but nothing special - I was surprised how basic the bathrooms were but it was clean and quiet. The breakfast had a great choice and it was a very easy 10 min walk to the centre. What we enjoyed the most was use of the Sauna on the top floor. A great way to wind down every night. Excellent local restaurant nearby recommended by hotel Kolme Kruunnua - very cheap and delicious. We will definately go back on our next trip.

place is ok - good situation. service helped us a lot - when my boyfriend he broke his leg - they helped us not only by getting to hospital in late time.. calling everywhere we needed.. but also got somewhere Crutch))

also their breakfast is really good)
for those 2 weeks we were there we had not problems with hotel - we lost a key - they made a new one, gave us info about place where we can eat when its late, also called to ask about restavrations of buildings we needed to see.. and so on..)
service was awesome)
from our window was seen a river or something like that.. and its quite the whole time.

PLUSES:
good transportation - near is the main train station (and METRO as well)
shops are near - food, cosmetics, cloth..
lots of places to eat
White Cathedral (Center) is really closed - 5-7mins.
