Stayed a couple of nights and was immediately impressed by the 2 square-metre bathroom. When I entered it and drew the curtains of the shower aside, I couldn't believe there was the wall right behind it! It's not very comfortable to have the water closet a few centimetres away from the wash basin and from the shower, plus I was also bewildered at the shower's floor having no separation from the bathroom's floor. The trick here is that the bathroom is slightly funnel shaped, so the water from the shower can only flow towards the center and there gets drained, without it risking of flooding the rest of the bathroom.
The bedroom also had a few problems, being it slightly too hot, damp and with no air conditioning... but then, I suppose all Helsinki was unprepared to face such a warm summer.
Speaking instead of the pros, the price of the rooms was quite convenient, the extras looked really good (especially the gym; we had no time to try the swimming pool and sauna), the breakfast was quite delicious and offered a wide choice of food, ranging from porridge to fruit salad to sausages&eggs (and much more).
As for the location, the hotel is connected well enough to the center, which is also pleasant to reach by having a stroll along the shore of the lake.
As a final note, the noise was an issue for my friends, who found the railway annoying, while I instead had no problem sleeping, save for the slightly high temperature/dampness of the room.
