Excellent interior, all necessary stuff in the room (even slippers, a kettle and two ironing desks). Huge cosy bed. Tasty various breakfast.

In its favour, the hotel is pretty centrally located for anyone who needs to be in the city centre. The staff are efficient, and the check-in and check-out processes were speedy and painless. However, the hardware desperately needs updating: the rooms are dark and dated, and it’s time that Radisson pumped some money into refurbishing the hotel.

Another Radisson Blu that screams for some attention and money invested in furniture and paint. Somewhat a pity that this old time cool building is allowed to slip slowly from luxury to shady. Tings look ok from a distance, but when you get closer, you will see that nothing is really cared for. Furniture are worn, painting is spotted, the Nespresso is there, but isn't cleaned properly... Adding to it, eating in the restaurant or having a drink in the bar means being served by staff that has no flair at all for giving service. During my last stay they started to carry out the furniture surrounding my table while I was still eating(!). To be fair, it's not all bad. The reception and lobby bar staff is very friendly and helpful.

This was my second stay in this hotel and for the second I was blown away by the customer service offered by this hotel. Perhaps not the most stylish rooms and certainly not high fashion, I would go as far as to say a little worn but comfortable. The communal areas on the other hand are stylish and have a fashionable decor. The bed was big and soft and some of the best pillows I’ve had. The location is fantastic and it is a stone’s throw from the train station and some great bars and restaurants. The hotels greatest assets are the food and the level of customer service. I was in Helsinki for 5 days on business and I ate in the hotel twice. Both times I was impressed with the food and service.
