Only here for a 1-night stay, but an early arrival gave me the chance to check it out. Despite the lobby area undergoing refurbishment, it didn't seem to impact guests. Food very nice (I only had a simple pasta dish, but it was very tasty), staff extremely friendly and helpful, good location for city centre connections and business district. In fact, everything very efficient.

Room and bathroom rather small, plus my room was fairly noisy in the early hours, not from other guests but from traffic outside (I was on the 4th floor, on the busiest side of the hotel, next to a road junction). I would recommend trying to get a room on the 7th (top) floor, perhaps on the front of the hotel, if you value peace and quiet. Although I had a double bed, I only had a single duvet, which I thought was a bit odd. However, these negatives were fairly minor.

Free internet, with decent speeds. Not the place I'd bring my wife for a romantic weekend break, but for business travel it does everything I need.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now, in 2010 and in 2011 and both times the experience was excellent. It could not be better situated if you want to use public transportation to get around. The bus and railway stations are right across the street so getting there or leaving to go elsewhere is so easy. It is also so convenient if you want to walk everywhere. Helsinki is a city where you want to walk to see it up close. There are so many parks, museums and sites to see, it is better to plan to see the sites by walking. We went to see the Sibelius monument, Kansallismuseo, Finlandia House, Kauppatori, Suomelinna, Helsinki Cathedral, Kiesma, Korkeasaari and did a lot of shopping. There is a shopping complex very close that offers many shopping opportunities and Alexanterinkatu has shops and restaurants to match anyone's needs. Radisson Blu has a fabulous breakfast so start with it and you have energy to go all day. I love the coffee they serve and the variety at breakfast. The check in was very easy. We got in our room before noon and were able to take a nap after a long flight to refresh before we headed out on our first day. I highly recommend it.

Nice business like hotel. It had all relevant amenities required and staff were always on hand to aid you with anything that you required. Will certainly use again.

Stayed there for a business trip, good value for a very clean room in a perfect location in Helsinki. Walking distance to the main station.
