Overall I had a good experience with this hotel, which is well located at a walking distance of the main attractions and shopping centres of Helsinki. You can easily walk to this hotel from the central train station.

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay, which I appreciated a lot. I arrived quite early at the hotel (around 9 AM), and while I was just planning to leave my luggage and go for a walk in the city, they already gave me a room! I could also enjoy a late check-out the next day. Not many hotels are that flexible with arrival/departure times.

For breakfast a reasonable choice of food was proposed, all you need to start the day in a good way!

Also interesting to mention is the hotel's restaurant Grill It where I had diner, and which is exceptionally good for a hotel restaurant. For more information see my related review.

On the downside, my room was not very clean when I got it. All tables and desks, the phone and light switches were covered with quite a lot of dust. The toilet still showed signs of the previous occupant of the room. I requested to have this cleaned, and it was done immediately. Unfortunately, they did not clean the Nespresso machine that comes with any Business room in this hotel, and despite my many attempts to let it run only with water, the cups kept on being filled with dirty water.

When I came back to my room after the cleaning of the dust was done, I appreciated finding a hand written note from someone from the hotel staff, together with a box of chocolates. Apologies accepted!

Another point: there was no heating in the room! And I was informed by the staff that this is normal and the same in all rooms. Apparently the 0°C in Helsinki that day was not sufficient yet to turn on the heating of the building!

If I go again to Helsinki, I might consider again this hotel. Let's just hope that the cleaning "incident" was only an isolated one!

Excellent place to stay in Helsinki and it's right in the center of the city.... Almost walkable to all locations... It'd be good if they have rooms with kitchenettes, which would help traveller like me who's staying in the hotel for a month. But, have to really thank the service team, for getting me a microwave when I asked for one. Kim, the front office person is very helpful.

This hotel is within walking distance of city centre and the port area. The rooms are modern, clean, large and with good facilties. The breakfast was good and I liked the summaries of news for your country, although these only seemed to be available during the week.

Been visiting here few times on business trips now and absolutely going to keep returning. Nice international hotel - met plenty of people from all over the world every visit so far.

Great location for my needs. The Kamppi metro (subway/tube/etc) station just next door along with the whole Kamppi mall is very convenient. If weather happens to be sub-optimal it's nice to have an indoors options. And let's face it, weather isn't the reason to visit Helsinki in November.

As mentioned enjoying the complementary breakfast can be bit crowded. But you can usually find a quiet table on the restaurant side if you dislike the crowded breakfast room. The hotel restaurant "Grill it" is very nice for a chain restaurant. Service is good and food is great. Prices are reasonable for a hotel in central capital area. There are quite a lot of restaurants to choose from nearby - some of them even more reasonably priced. Nice selection of ethnic restaurants along the Annankatu that starts just a block towards central railway station.
