The hotel and staff are great and I would highly recommend this for all who visit this part of Finland.

Stay for 4 nights on a First Choice Lapland Holiday.
The Scandic is in the Center of Rovaniemi ideal location for the shops and restaurants.The room was adequate for the time we were in it,the hotel and the room were clean with the snow we had. The Breakfast was great and as much as you can eat, and the staff in the restaurant and reception were Excellent. The room was on the mean road said of the Hotel but no noise at all.

Visited for business staying two nights. The hotel met the expectations, which were not too high really. The general idea was to book a reasonably priced room close to the company we were visiting.

Siamo andati allo Scandic hotel per il weekend dell'Immacolata e appena siamo arrivati ci hanno dato un upgrade: invece della family room (siamo 2 adulti e 2 bambini) ci hanno dato 2 camere comunicanti di cui uno dei 2 bagni aveva la sauna all'interno. Ne siamo stati molto contenti. in generale le stanze sono di media grandezza, arredamento moderno e semplice, molto calde e la pulizia è OK. Lo staff è molto gentile e la colazione della mattina è eccezionale con una scelta tra dolce, salato e bevande veramente ampia e può soddisfare tutti i gusti. All'interno del ristorante c'è anche uno spazio per i bambini. Da tenere in considerazione che a Rovaniemi tutto ruota intorno alla via principale pedonale: la maggior parte degli alberghi si trova lungo questa via (lo scandic hotel è all'inizio, santa claus hotel a metà, cumulus e city a metà via) quindi tutti gli hotel hanno una buona posizione. Anche i punti di partenza delle principali società per le escursioni (safartica, north wild, ecc) e la maggior parte dei ristoranti sono lungo la via. Di fronte allo Scandic c'è un mcdonald ed un centro commerciale con vari negozi, ristoranti e un supermercato. Consiglio questo albergo in quanto rientra pienamente negli standard di Rovaniemi ed ha una posizione strategica.
